Oasis Dinner Raises Over $76,000 for the Mission
The Merced County Rescue Mission would like to express our gratitude to all of you who attended the Oasis Dinner, our annual fundraiser on Friday evening, May 10th. The Oasis Dinner raised over $76,000 to meet our expenses during the summer months. This could not have been accomplished without your overwhelming generosity and support for the Rescue Mission. Your kindness will help us continue helping men, women, families, and Veterans across all of Merced County.
Thank you also for sharing in the excitement of the Mission’s “Building Hope Campaign” as we look forward to a new campus and the opportunity this will bring for influencing even more lives for Christ! As our ministry expands, we are grateful to have you as strong supporters.
We encourage you to learn more about the Mission, help raise awareness, and help raise more funds for the Mission.

Please Pray for Wayne
Wayne Hague has been teaching and mentoring participants in the Merced County Rescue Mission programs for about 15 years. Wayne also works with the men in our program who are working on major issues and is helping them learn to work through problems that have become debilitating giants in their lives. Recently Wayne suffered a stroke that has temporarily placed him on the sidelines. The Rescue Mission greatly misses Wayne while he is home and recovering. Please remember him in your prayers. From all of us at the Mission, "We love you, Wayne!"

Our Office Has Moved!
Our office, which serves as our donation drop-off and information center for our programs, has moved! We are now located at 644 W. 20th Street in Merced. It's about 150 yards from our previous office space and will allow us to operate more efficiently.
Our mailing address remains the same, P.O. Box 3319, Merced, CA 95344.
Christmas Banquet A Success!
Over 500 people enjoyed a Christmas Banquet prepared by the Merced County Rescue Mission, which was hosted at the American Legion Hall on Christmas Eve. Santa Claus made an appearance and happy children received toys. Clothing was also made available through the generosity of the Bus Boutique. Thank you to the many volunteers who came to make this event a memorable one for the participants and we are grateful to Mr. Nawabi from 7-11 who helped to underwrite the event.
